Notice of Annual General Meeting
The Botanical Gardens of Silver Springs will be holding their Annual General Meeting on March 24, 2026 at 7 pm at the Silver Springs Community Center Boardroom.
All members of the Botanical Gardens of Silver Springs are encouraged to attend. A voting member is defined as :
Any individual who has contributed more than 25 hours on activities for the garden or the society in the previous season is deemed a member. By attending an Annual General Meeting and registering to vote the individual shall be deemed a voting member for the meeting and the next year.
We will be presenting a revision of our Bylaws at this meeting to accommodate the creation of a Past President position on the board and to extend the time that a director can spend on the board to 6 years (3-2year terms) continuously.
We will also be reviewing our successes of 2025 and announcing plans for the 2026 celebration of our 20th anniversary and recognition of our founders.
