Woodland Walk - Flora of Alberta

Wander the woodchip path through the forest to discover Calgary’s native shrubs and flowers. In 2018, the City of Calgary added over 100 native shrubs to enhance the Birthplace Forest. Volunteers have since planted more than 75 native perennials and ground covers, creating a local forest ecosystem that supports native pollinators and birds.
